How Schools Can Boost Your Personality

Schools can be good avenue to boost and harness personality among others. There are some schools who have programs that attend to developing the students overall skills and development and that includes personality - boosting programs.

So, if you really wish to develop that self - esteem, you can start by taking the first step of maximizing the school programs on student development. You can join recreational clubs or attend to skill trainings to make you more equipped with human and communication skills.

At home, you can do your self - readings on beauty enhancement including dead sea mud   and take some healthy active exercise with a friend or family to make it your regular habit.

Feeling good is always accompanied by looking good and that means healthy lifestyle and diet, healthy PR skills, and positive self - perception.

No Graduate Class For Me

It is Saturday but instead of cruising to another city to attend to my graduate class, I am simply at home, updating my blogs and relaxing the long weekend without much worry.

However, my graduate school professor had emailed our homework to be submitted next weekend, so, I guess this weekend can be diverted to completing the homework and enjoying the time with friends and family.

I am pretty sure I shall be penalized together with my classmates who chose to be absent from graduate school activities to savor the rest and break.

For now, I can only enjoy my  free Saturday.

But, you can make your proctoring less boring but still effective. You can try these practical tips:

  • Bring a music player with your fave music to listen to while keeping your eyes sharp against naughty students trying  to cheat;
  • Do stretching while walking through students' pathways;
  • Check  on easy - to - check papers;
  • Record test papers while in between glancing on your examinees;
  • Reading the newspaper while being vigilant.
Depending on your school policies on proctoring, you will simply make the proctoring time ends swiftly.

The new school term is finally over and most schools are up in their term exams. While it has been awhile since college days, I quite say earning good scores from exams can’t be that difficult.

My personal experiences from earning straight A’s or flat 1.00’s are through the following:

  • Have a regular study habits;
  • Hang out with friends who value education more than leisure activities;
  • Work on school requirements earlier than their deadlines;
  • Earn aggregated good scores from other classroom activities like projects, recitations, school papers and short exams.
  • Pamper yourself from hard work after an exam or two, casual drinking, partying or Zyngle free dating online will give a boost and recharge;
  • Have good intrinsic motivation for earning good grades.

Teaching Award, Anyone?

Teaching has been my passion and work for over a decade and while it has its lapses, its good points still outweigh the professional drawbacks like checking test papers, preparing questionnaires, lecturing and programming and counseling to name a few.
While anyone can be a teacher, not everyone can be a committed teacher. So, to give tributes to our service – oriented educators, the world shall be honoring them this October 5 as World Teachers’ Day.

My school has to give the Teaching Award on this big day to recognize the efforts and commitment of our teachers. I am pretty sure that students can only agree that teachers are simply their parents at school who are just around to teach and guide them through life and academics.

Are There Boundaries to Teaching

There has been an endless debate whether sex education among others can be taught among youngsters but with pressing cases of unwanted pregnancy among others, I personally believe that this kind of education is only necessary and vital.

As teachers, we teach our students to be ready and prepared for life – challenging decisions and that include living a healthy and clean life with fulfilling career and assured future through insurance and savings. We teach them technical skills to get the job, soft skills to relate with people and knowledge skills on other stuffs like life insurance types to make their education holistic and practical.

Different schools have different priorities in educating their students and while most schools would want to develop fully their students to make effective citizens of the community, it is up to students how they would use their education to us.

Helping Family Learn

from the hand - drawn story board

My kid had a school requirement where he had to deliver a story with all the props he could use. And, since his dad is in another city and I had no special creative skills, I could only pass on the project to his pop in spite of the geographical distance.

So, his daddy had made the hand drawings on the ANGRY BIRD Story I made. And, with a day’s difference from the date of storytelling submission, the drawings had arrived . I could only take delight and feel love as I saw the works of my husband for our kid.

My own son was grateful too to see the vibrant colors of the drawing and with the angry bird headdress I bought him to complement the story, he could only be happier.

Screen classics pay tribute to teachers

DEPED's Teacher's Month Campaign
Being a teacher for over a decade is never easy but it has been a very fulfilling and enriching career that in spite of the burden of paper works and teaching loads, I could not simply give it up. Thus, now that I have my own business to run, I still teach part time in a local college institution.

October 5 is World Teachers' Day and the Department of Education launched a Teacher's Month Campaign to recognize  commendable teachers nationwide.
And, since I am a movie fanatic too, I happened to receive a movie tag of some movie classics honoring teachers. So, check their list, you might have seen a movie or two of your liking.
