Students, Music and More

We are now on second or third week and depending on the school's calendar of activities, exams may be soon set to end one term.

But, while exams can just be around the corner, students, faculty and administration, however, welcome the new semester with enthusiasm, vigor and wisdom.

Now, that new semester is in, school requirements and exams are to be expected but students and personnel have their own means to get recharged and that includes listening to good music anytime they want. Good thing that there are music players and technology from legitimate distributors including alesis that come at lower rates and we can even buy them online.

I guess even if we are students or simply workers, positively embracing our schooling or career can quite make a difference in becoming productive.

So, find your recreational activities to get recharged and re-energized to make school fun; MUSIC can be one.

SOCCSKSARGEN Holds BlogFest 2.0

over 100 participants joined the 2nd BlogFest @ Sun City Suites, General Santos City

Just after the eco - trail run of 13kms around the city, we  consumed the entire day and night with the power - pack convention of bloggers in SOCCSKSARGEN, CDO, Iligan, and Cagayan and great speakers to include from the Office of the President.

Different issues were tackled and how blogging and social media can be used to enforce change and responsible journalism.

We had great time that we had the chance to meet new bloggers and the old ones and share wisdom from one another.

Fun School Recreational Events

Government agencies like DEPED and CHED directed on holistic learning of kids at all levels, sports and other extra and co - curricular activities are encouraged, so, kids may be enriched academically, physically and socially.

Thus, there are about four (4) Physical Education subjects in a college program and that trainings or seminars can be given on personality development and schools hold sports events like intramurals where students have to compete in athletics among others.

But, above and over these, student clubs and organizations are created for various students' interest and that may include volleyball or outdoor activities including climbing. So, exhibits, talks and shops like North Face jacket  are directed to bring support and access to students.

These school activities can be vain unless students shall partake to these recreational events for their holistic growth and development.

Last November 27, the General Santos City Police Office has once again organized a local fun run and the most recent run supports the Indigenous Kids where they too received special run singlets.

I had registered my kid along with my nephew and while I could not join my usual fun run, I quite enjoyed the day seeing the kids having fun while running.

So, congratulations to all kid runners, families and organizers who put up the successful race.

Welcome Back , Students!

The second semester is up and running again and while most teachers and students still wish that semestral breaks can be prolonged, we can only go back to school and welcome the new semester with enthusiasm and hope that it shall be another productive time for everyone.

In spite of the new semester, I still have to indulge in my extra - curricular activities including running, airsoft war games, and soccer and enjoying all these with loved ones and friends makes the activities more fun and exciting.

I guess all work with no play would only make us less productive, so, if we want to live a day stress - free, playing and reward cards can quite help.

So, welcome freshmen, old students and teachers and may this new semester rolls in with fun!

Teacher on the Run

completing my first 3 - leg of 10km runs successively

I simply enjoyed my three - week semestral break and most of the time, I consumed it with vacations and runs. So, since semestral breaks I completed four races and I could only enjoy and endure the thrill and fatigue.

I am only worried that my colds still continues to persist in spite of my medicines. I have another trail run this weekend plus a pending airsoft war game and soccer.

I may not be mentally stressed from graduate schools but I am definitely dead beaten  from exhaustion and physical activities. I could only slow down.

Graduate School on the Loose

with my graduate school classmates in our Cebu - Bohol Educational trip

I am done with my toil from the first semester of my graduate school and since I don't have subjects this second semester, I could only miss my graduate school classmates.

We had much fun and having a school break through an educational trip was quite a relief. At least, we had a good time learning and enjoying without worrying work or family. I can only wish that my undergraduate students can experience such thrill and joy too.
