June 4, 2012 opens government schools to hundreds of students for the new school year. And, this is a historic school year as K + 12 new education program shall start this year among the incoming kinder students who are required before accelerating to Grade 1.

Unfortunately, however, that there are still schools that are loomed with the usual lack of classrooms, chairs and teachers. The Philippine government is persistently challenged of these problems and the new education system  does not promise a total reform.

Most private schools will however start on June 13, 2012 after the national government declared June 12 as legal holiday in celebration of Independence Day.
