Great Money Savings From Trash - Made Christmas Decors

Christmas Tree from dried leaves @ Tree Top Adventure, Subic
When we had the chance to visit Olangapo City for Subic's pride: Ocean Adventure, Zoobic Safari, and Tree Top, one of the things that caught my attention was the presence of a tall Christmas tree made from dry leaves. And, as environment advocate, I could only appreciate the efforts of the management to make the holidays felt but more so, to contribute to earth preservation.

With the increasing urbanization of most places, finding a safe and eco - centered haven is a scarce thing. We can   find portable hepa filters  for a continued fresh air but if we want economy - wise and more sustainable solution, we can resort to helping mother Earth. And, we can do this through 3R's: Recycle, Reuse, Reduce.

So, for your holiday decors, why not try creating Christmas trees from empty bottles as the structure, with fancy colorful cups as decors and soda straws for garlands and stars among others like the picture above from Portugal.

Other Christmas decors could be painted burnt out lights as tree ornaments, Snowman from socks and bottles, cut - out gift bags from glossy magazine pages, ribbons from plastic bags.

The list can go on and with a little help from all of us, we can make our Earth less hurt everyday.
