Now that school year is about to end, parents are only hopeful that their children can do better for high school or collegiate education. If parents are only able to support fully their kids, then finding a scholarship is least of their concerns.

However, for most parents, sending their kids can be more than a burden, and, scholarship of any type can only be welcoming. So, where to look when finding for high school or collegiate scholarships?

  • Schools. Normally, most schools like Ateneo do offer scholarship examinations for high - performing students. So, simply inquire through your schools for details. If these information ain't available, then, inquiring through  the target school, normally, through the Guidance Office can be quite helpful.
  • Private Organizations. As part of social responsibilities, private establishments like SM Foundation or Ayala Group Foundation, do offer scholarships for students. These companies oftentimes have websites or local counterparts where you can apply.
  • Government. CHED, TESDA, and DOST are key government offices that do offer scholarship. I was once a scholar of PESFA under CHED program. See regional offices for requirements.
  • Politicians. Some politicians who prioritize education give scholarships, simply inquire with their respective offices how you can apply. I was once a scholar too of Congresswoman Lu Antonino from SOCCSKSARGEN  region.
By inquiring from target schools, one can benefit from the possible scholarship offerings. So, just be patient and persistent, school assistance can be on your way! Good luck!
